I had planned to focus on stories about deep woo and people who are on unique spiritual journeys this year, but it turns out our world has gone cray cray and so have most spiritual communities.
In this episode I give an update on the projects I'm doing that are keeping me sane and give a brief book review of Melissa Febos's book Body Work, about writing memoirs. While I agree with Febos that the writing process, especially when writing a memoir, is a healing process, I do not agree that the only way for marginalized people to write meaningful memoirs is through the framework of social justice. That's just cray cray.
