Jesus is just walking from town to town with his followers and he asks two interesting, parallel questions: "Who you PEOPLE say I am?" and then, "Who do YOU say I am?" And one of those answers is more important than the other... Take a guess which one?

Last part of My Story U share that my life is not perfect even now. I have a whole new set of problems while still trying to overcome old issues and hurts. But I love what Philippians 3:12 says because it’s so my thoughts exactly: “I don’t mean that I am exactly what God wants me to be. I have not yet reached that goal. But I continue trying to reach it and make it mine. That’s what Christ Jesus wants me to do. It is the reason he made me his.”

Over and over again, God has shown me that no matter how damaged,broken, messy I am or how incredibly awful I have ruined everything, HE still has a purpose and a plan for our lives! And “He will bring someone alongside of us so we can be there for them like HE was there for us.” 2 Corinthians 1:4 MSG

I’ve disappointed a lot of people. I’ve hurt a lot more. I’ve experienced freedom and breakthrough only to mess up and be in bondage again to hurts, habits and hang ups. If you’re like me, throwing in the towel is a real tangible temptation. But I tell you today: Don’t Give Up!

Just using these five epeisodes leading up to Devotional number 100 to share my story... And using my life verse to encourage anyone who is listening: “He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us.”

Just taking a fresh look at Philippians 4:19 where it says "My God will use his glorious riches to give you EVERYTHING you need." And when HE says EVERYTHING, he doesn't just mean the material things, the visible stuff. HE means EVERYTHING!

How is 2020 treating you? Guess what, despite the problems and troubles that followed you from the previous year, OVERWHELMING VICTORY IS YOURS! the bible says so in Romans 8:37... "Despite all these things [hunger, death, trouble, calamity, persecution] overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us."

The end of the first full week of 2020! How are you doing with your goals? Resolutions? Promises? Just here to encourage you today to BE BALANCED. As 3 John 1:2 tells us, "Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as HEALTHY IN BODY as you are STRONG IN SPIRIT."
