In this episode of The Batman Universe Podcast, cohosts Scott & BJ cover all of the Bat-tastic updates in the last few weeks. The two break-down that Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Worlds: Part One (2024) trailer that just released (did you know it’s part one of THREE??).

They also run through the latest Superman: Legacy casting updates! After losing out to Robert Pattinson for the role of Bruce Wayne in The Batman and David Corenswet for the role of Clark Kent, Nicholas Holt is our newest Lex Luthor in James Gunn’s upcoming film!

In our last episode, Adil and BJ discussed the lack of promotion for the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League game from Rocksteady that’s set to release in February 2024. A Rocksteady employee’s ears must have been burning because we were “treated” to a gameplay and story update. For those who don’t have time to watch the whole thing, gamers will be treated to these updates pretty regularly until launch.

Shout-out from Comic Creator Scott Beatty

Comic book legend Scott Beatty mentioned TBU host BJ on his blog! You can see the post here, but we’ll feature a snippet below.

Much thanks this month to B.J. Shea @ The Batman Universe for his recent article—TBU Five Things: Favorite Moments from ‘Year One’ Stories—that called out not one… not two… but all THREE of DC Comics’ bestselling *Sidekick Trifecta* tales co-written by Chuck Dixon and me!

Shea cited fan-favorite scenes from ROBIN: YEAR ONE, BATGIRL: YEAR ONE, and NIGHTWING: YEAR ONE!
