About Justin Heights
From the publisher's feed
Justin Heights is an LA-based artist, producer, and songwriter blending dark pop, R&B, and introspective hip-hop into a sound that’s cinematic, raw, and timeless. Known for songs like Medicinal, Chill for a Minute, and Thrillz, his music feels like a snapshot of a moment—authentic, vulnerable, and designed to pull listeners deep into the world he’s creating.
Originally a Chicago transplant now rooted in Downtown Los Angeles, Heights built his own studio (The Dojo LA) where he not only records his own projects but also develops new talent such as Asia Holiday. As a producer and engineer, he’s hands-on with every detail—from songwriting and mixing to branding and release strategy—making his catalog stand out with both polish and personality.
His style carries themes of mystery, detachment, nightlife, love, and self-reflection, with influences ranging from alternative R&B to modern trap soul. Always chasing moments of truth, Heights is focused on creating music that resonates globally while staying grounded in his independence as the head of SHi Muzik LLC.
With a growing presence on Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok, and SoundCloud, Justin Heights is an artist to watch for fans of artists like The Weeknd, Bryson Tiller, Frank Ocean, and 6LACK.
