It's very easy to forget who God is sometimes when we allow anxiety to take over. Journalling daily is a good way to release the anxiety and worry from of your spirit, body, and mind. Find what works for you, whether it be daily vlogging, writing poetry, voice notes, or the traditional diary. Everyday life can be challenging, but it is important to arm yourself with the word of God. One good bible verse to remember in moments of worry, anxiety, and stress,

Matthew 6:25-26

“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?  Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?''

Hope everyone's been good by the grace of God. WHO IS ON YOUR TEAM?! A very important question to ask yourself. In this episode, we discuss the importance of companionships in life. God did not design man to be alone, everyone will need the help of another at some point in their life and vice versa. As much as someone is on your team, you are also on theirs, think of ways in which you can help one another in your respective life journies. If you are struggling to encounter good and Godly friendships, praying for discernment will guide you to make the right decisions. If you struggle to be a good friend to another, allow God to show you where you are going wrong and for the heart to embrace the necessary changes.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Two are better than one Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. (NKJV)

Recently, I have been studying the book of Ruth, and one thing I would say is, trust God and the moments you go through in life. Ruth could not have predicted how her life would turn out. Denying her old ways and placing her trust in the one and only God placed her at the start of a legacy that brought us David. Legacy is a generational thing! think of your future children and their children‘s children.

Today today today! We talk about the times we have been upset with God, and indicators experienced when feeling distant from God. One thing to remember is that, even when we feel distant from God, He is always there, right beside us. The enemy will have us believe that in moments we feel distant from God when we feel like God can't hear us, it's because He doesn't love us. But that is in fact false, they are many verses in the bible that affirms God's love for us, a few that I came across when writing this are:

Psalm 94:14 ''For the Lord will not cast off His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance.'' - we need to understand that from the moment we accepted Christ as our Lord and Saviour, we became God's people. God doesn't disown His people, it's not in His nature, so when we feel distant, God still hasn't forgotten us. 

Matthew 28: 20 ''I am with you always, even to the end of the age'' - God is always with us, through every aspect, season, decision, and moment of life. The good and the bad.

Revelation 3:20 ''Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him and dine with him, and he with Me.'' - it takes one decision, one cry, one ''God I need you''. What I love about this verse is the beginning, it makes us aware of how close God is to us,  and how fast He can enter any situation and help us through it. He is not miles away, He doesn't need any mode of transportation to reach us. He's right there, waiting for us to let Him in. 

This just makes me aware of three things, 1. God never forgets His people, He is always thinking about us, about our future, 2. God is always with us in every moment we experience, 3. God wants us to choose to let Him into our lives, into our situations, into the good and bad moments. Life is a journey in which we have the choice to walk through and experience with God.
