Dr. Nazir Lone is an Attending pulmonary and critical care medicine physician at Peconic Bay Medical Center. Before joining Peconic’s team, Dr. Lone worked at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown. He went to medical school in India and then got a master’s in public health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Lone completed his residency and a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Missouri. He has another fellowship in Anesthesia and critical care medicine from Johns Hopkins, Baltimore.
Dr. Sara Cerrone grew up in Floral Park, NY. She went to Stony Brook University for an undergraduate degree where she played softball. Dr. Cerrone then went on to Stony Brook University School of Medicine to obtain her medical degree. She completed residency and fellowship at Hofstra-Northwell and am currently a gastroenterologist in Riverhead NY. Dr. Cerrone specializes in general gastroenterology, gastrointestinal motility disorders, and hepatology. She hopes to grow Northwell's gastroenterology program on the East End, bringing resources to the community.
