Covert Fade interviews Obaid Omer and Deen, two of the hosts of Heretics Corner; a podcast dedicated to exploring the issues that impact apostates of all faiths around the world.

Obaid and Deen discuss their experience of Islam, and how they rebuilt their lives after doing so, as well as how the exMuslim experience compares and contrasts to the exJW one.

They also discuss advice for new apostates, the wider needs of the "interfaith" apostate community, the difficulties ex-Muslims can face and more!

In this brief but festive episode, Alice and Covert discuss a Christmas themed life coaching exercise: “The Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future” and how to create goals using the S.M.A.R.T system.

We also discuss the Muppet Christmas Carol, invent new Christmas shopping words, and enthusiastically mangle the best Christmas song ever written with our terrible singing.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

In this episode, Covert Fade and Alice Cheshire discuss the field of Positive Psychology, the concept of "subjective happiness," and uncover factors that contribute towards a sense of well-being.

They discuss how the Jehovah's Witness religion hijacks some of these factors to make JW's feel content, how leaving the religion might cause us to lose some of these things, and how we can take them back!

And nobody sings. We promise.

In this episode Covert Fade and Alice Cheshire answer some of the questions that have been coming into the Forwardcast via social media and email.

We talk about Imposter Syndrome, the return of Analysis  Paralysis, understanding those exJW’s who make different religious choices to us, and whether it’s possible to be honest with PIMI family whilst still successfully fading.

Also Covert sings. You have been warned.

Welcome to the very first episode of JW Forwardcast! The paint is still fresh on the walls, the chairs are freshly unwrapped and show is ready to go!

In this episode, Covert Fade and Alice Cheshire introduce themselves, and then discuss the problem of control; specifically how the Watchtower organisation systematically strips Jehovah’s Witnesses of the confidence to take control of their own lives.

They discuss some ways to get into the habit of asserting authority over your life, the usefulness of mindset journaling, and Covert manages to squeeze in a dreadfully geeky IT joke, and some philosophy from the legendary martial artist Bruce Lee.

All this and more on the first of many Forwardcasts!
