Well, here we are, it's once again almost time vote for who will be the "leader" of this country   So let's get to real issue I'm having this discussion: NIKKI MINAJ. Yes, somehow someway she has finally said something worthy of me actually talking about her in a show. If you haven't heard, Nikki caused a little bit of stir with some words she spit in a song: "I'm a Republican, voting for Mitt Romney / you lazy bit**es are fu**ing up the economy..". Words from a collaboration on the new Lil Wayne project this sent my social news feed ON FIRE and my email also. Is it true, the same chic that "beez in the trap" is going to vote for MITT ROMNEY? More of IF she is, I think the better question is WHY DO WE CARE?   Well let me go on record as saying, yes I CARE. I care what political views people have from my associates, friends, co workers, and yes fellow artist. To me the fact that someone like Nikki would vote for Romney is utterly RETARDED outside of one reason: MONEY. But then, why do any of us vote the way we do? It surely isn't because of POLICY most of the time, because if that were the case someone that wants to cut taxes on billionaires technically shouldn't stand a chance. But no, it isn't policy that drives us, it is money, race, and religion. We want our politicians to also be our accountants, look like us, and be our pastor all in one.   People feel strongly about politics just like religion, and if you did not start your career off flowing and taking a stand on these topics, to me it is in your best interest to leave them out of your flows. Especially when what you believe politically goes against your own fan base.           -BLIZM
