In this episode, you will get ideas, inspiration and insights as to how you can make a life decision such as a career switch and my inspiring guest, Wendy Koh, will share how she transitioned in her career in a way that leaves her fulfilled and empowered.
George Bernard Shaw said: “Life is no brief candle to me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got a hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations.”
This quote is a source of inspiration for why Wendy does what she does - to leave the world a better place for the next generation. She fulfilled that vision through her work with individuals and leaders in private, public and social sector organizations. She takes a holistic approach, working with the whole individual i.e. mental, emotional, physical, spiritual and the ecosystem they live in. She helps individuals she work with finding their voice and the most unique way in which they impact people, communities, organizations and the world they live in. As a result, they live a life full of aliveness, freedom, love and joy.
As a Coach and a Facilitator, she sees her role as a channel for the discovery process in my one-on-one or group sessions, and workshops that she leads. Her work is relatable, practical and impactful. She sees my work with her clients as one of journeying together. The experience is best described with the analogy of mountain climbing – a combination of rugged terrain, unpredictable weather, breathtaking views, and unforgettable experiences that are transformational and fulfilling. When she is not working with her clients, you can find her walking and enjoying the parks in Singapore, taking photographs as a way of reminding her of the beauty that life has to offer, meeting up with friends and having great conversations about the important things in life and painting.
