Brent Jarrett played for the K-Wings for five seasons in the 1980s. In those 5 seasons, Jarrett won a division championship, won the MVP and scoring title and set a leauge record for most short-handed goals in a single season with 11. Jarrett sits down this week with Chris Cadeau to talk about his path to the K-Wings, why the K-Wings alumni corps is so strong and why he's decided to stay in Kalamazoo for so many years post retirement. 

K-Wings legend Kevin Schamehorn is no stranger to being the underdog. The undersized forward pushed through the odds and became a Kalamazoo Wings' all-time great. So much so, Shamehorn sits a Top-4 in every major statistical category in the K-Wings record book. A native of Canada, Shams, also still calls Kalamazoo home. In 2018, Schamehorn's No. 26 was lifted to the rafters. K-Wings goaltender Trevor Gorsuch has persevered the bouncing nature of a professional netminder who's looking to make a mark. Due to the Pandemic, Gorsuch played on seven professional teams before landing in Kalamazoo in 2021-22 as a backup. Trevor then went on to become the K-Wings starter and lead the ECHL in most goaltender statistical categories this past season.
