For many wives, mothers and women in general, Proverbs 31 is an intimidating passage. Who can measure up to this woman? Do I have to? Who is this mythical Proverbs 31 woman, anyway? And why does God include her description in the Bible?

At Easter, we think about the suffering, trial and death of Jesus. But the fact that Jesus rose from the dead is incredibly important. This message looks at how that reality impacts our lives.

A Palm Sunday look at Jesus Triumphal Entry and the lessons that we can learn and apply to our lives.

God leads us in our discipleship, he takes us by the hand. Ultimately as he takes our hand and disciples us, so we take the hand of another to disciple them and lead them to Jesus. Remove the stain of my guilt. Create a clean heart. Renew a right spirit - the streams of living water that renews our spirit, i.e the Holy Spirit.

We'll be talking about trusting God with our whole heart and how there are things that can keep us from doing that fully. More specifically we will be looking at 4 things that we may be putting our trust in instead of God. The four things are traditions, theology, thinking and talents.

In this conclusion of the story of Nehemiah and the restoration of Jerusalem we are reminded that even when the outer, physical work of restoring the walls and city of Jerusalem was done, it wasn't the end of the restoration. Their response was to enter into worship and into an inner spiritual restoration.
