In this episode Rama and lakshmana look out for Sita . They find Jatayu the eagle in a sorrowful condition. Jatayu narrates the abduction of Sita and also how it fought to get her released. Jatayu dies in the hands of Sri Rama. Then on further course of search they encounter Kabandan a rakshasa who gets killed by Rama. In this episode Ravana has a fierce fight with Jatayu the great eagle. But he manages to abduct Seetha and land at his kingdom of Lanka.

The idol of Ravana with ten heads ( each head showing different expression was done in 2021 by my son Arvind Neelakantan. All materials used are recycled plastic bottles and containers.

Mareecha misleads Sri Rama to a far away place. He is killed by SriRama. But mareecha cries out loud in Rama's voice. This makes Sita to believe that Rama is in trouble. Though lakshmana assures about Rama' s valour she is convinced that lakshmana has evil intentions about her and Rama. And persuades lakshmana to go and help Rama leaving her back at the ashram. Ravana awaiting such an opportunity abducts Sita.

Mareecha takes the roopam of Golden deer and enters the Ashram of Sri Rama in Dandakaranyam.

In this episode Ravana is informed by agambaman a rakshasa who escaped from SriRama that janastana is destroyed. He misguides Ravana to abduct Seetha.
