Monday, David Waldman, Greg Dworkin and KITM. Here we go again! Oh, so close! Ron DeSantis called off his presidential run in second place! What did he do wrong? Was there anything that Ron did right? In his campaign DeSantis was a cruel, stupid, egotistical authoritarian to a fault, so everyone knew his heart was in the right place, MAGA-wise. His body count was second only to the Donald’s. It’s just that with prime Trump still on the menu, who needs a meatball sub?  Well, it’s up to Nikkki Haley to… No, it’s not. It has always been Trump.  Haley will endorse Trump in a couple of weeks. Sooner or later they always bend the knee. What else can any Gop do? (At least without begging a Democrat to help them.) Well, then the media should… Except that the media is even weaker than the Gop, and also has to worry about being seen as “partisan”. Once Trump strips Nikkki and Ron’s campaigns down for parts, he will only find Christina Pushaw worth salvaging. Christina and perhaps a few bits of anti-DEI literature, if that phrase even lasts the next few months. Well-dressed Nazi Gimmetarians are still getting a terrific ROI out of classic terms, such as “furries”, and “Hispanics”. Oklahoma Republican JJ Humphrey hates those Hispanics and furries, but remains solidly pro-cockfighting. (No word yet on Humphrey’s acceptance of Hispanic furry cockfighters.)  Still, with TFFG coronation still months away, Republicans should hang tight. Donald’s decaying faster than a Cybertruck in the rustbelt.
