Frankie wants to write his own song. He wants to write it in the style of a rap, ‘but it also needs to be a silly song’ he says. On a trip to the beach Frankie spots a shark in the sea. The family discuss why a shark might be in the Irish Sea. This culminates in a fun and imaginative song that Pops sings about the life of shark under water and why he comes to visit Dollymount beach.

At the end of the school year Kaifina reflects on what she has learned in second class. The family discuss the things you can learn at school but all also the things that are learned in life lessons, things learned in the Universe of Song.
