Haymakers of both the proverbial and literal kind were thrown throughout the first week of the Buffalo Bills 2022 training camp. The offense, led by quarterback Josh Allen and new play caller Ken Dorsey, was largely quiet throughout the week but did flash a bit late, exploding in the red zone in the back half of the first stretch of practices. This wasn’t the only form of exploding Allen did throughout the week, as he and recently re-signed defensive lineman Jordan Phillips instigated Buffalo’s first training camp fight Saturday afternoon.

This year’s training camp darlings have already started to emerge, with slot receiver Isaiah McKenzie getting the most praise on the offensive side of the ball and Von Miller, who inked a six-year mega-deal with the Bills in the offseason, making the biggest impact defensively thus far. Juggling across the offensive line has resulted in consistent production from Miller, Ed Oliver, and the rest of the team’s pass rush while the battle between All-Pro wideout Stefon Diggs and rookie corner Kaiir Elam has heated up in recent practices.
