Kaitlyn Tso of Coconino Varsity Softball is slated to head to Cal State Northridge next year. Kaitlyn threw her 1,000 strikeout on April 17th, making her the first softball pitcher in the history of Northern Arizona to reach that milestone, she was the 11th in the state to do it. Her 227 strikeouts this season is 20th-best nationwide, and has won 80 games at Coconino - proving the 14th-most in state history. In their last game (Monday), the Panthers beat #4 Flag High, 3-2 in eight innings. Kaitlyn notched 12 strikeouts. The two teams play each other again on Wednesday.
