Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. According to the 14th Amendment, Kamala Harris is not constitutionally eligible to be vice-president. An individual must be a natural-born citizen to be qualified, and she is not. Although she was born in the United States, neither of her parents were U.S. citizens when she was born. This means they and their daughter Kamala, in the language of the Constitution, were ultimately subject to the jurisdiction of their native countries of Jamaica and India rather than the U.S. To be a natural-born citizen, you not only must be born here, you must be subject to the jurisdiction of the U.S. when you are. Kamala Harris wasn’t. Nothing will happen - we long ago gave up following the Constitution when it’s inconvenient. But maybe it’s time we started following the whole thing, not just the parts we like.
