We're tackling a subject that weighs heavy on the hearts of so many in our communities—

life after a felony conviction.

We've heard the phrase, 'Do the crime, do the time,' but what about after the time is served? Can a person ever truly be free from their past?

For the first time in our nation's history, the highest office in the land is occupied by someone with a felony conviction.

It begs the question: if the presidency isn't off-limits to a convicted felon, why are so many doors still slammed shut for those who have paid their debt to society?

Tonight, we're honored to welcome Kemnejer 'Tank' Alexander. His story is raw and real—a teenager caught up in the streets, sentenced to a decade behind bars, and now, over 30 years later, still fighting the invisible chains of his past. This conversation isn't just about Tank. It's about justice, redemption, and the power of a second chance."

elcome to the debut episode of Kandid Konversations with Ms. Krystal!

In this first installment, we follow up on a heartbreaking story I first covered as a local TV journalist in Louisville, Kentucky. This story covers the aftermath of the Givaudan explosion that left a Clifton neighborhood resident and her husband homeless.

Eunice Stone, 68, lost the place she called home after the explosion deemed her residence uninhabitable. In this episode, Eunice shares the struggles of navigating displacement, the unforeseen challenges of temporary housing, and the emotional and financial toll this disaster has taken on her family. We also will bring you a heart- warming update!
