Just a few months before Scout Troop 13 celebrates its 100 year anniversary of dedicated service to the residents of St. Charles, its members have another reason to celebrate. The troop was presented with a “Spirit of St. Charles Award.”

Batavia junior Avery Hacker ran her best race ever to take second at the Class 3A state cross country meet while Kaneland sophomore Carson Kaiser took third in the Class 2A boys race to lead area medalists.
