The Kansas City Baseball Vault has always been dedicated to bringing you the best from the past, the present and the future. Tonight we had all three in the same show. We started off the show walking about the recently resurgent Royals, but has anyone noticed? Next we talked with 3-Time All-Star and Royals Hall of Famer, Short Stop Freddie Patek. We talked with him about the best Royals teams in history, what it was like to play for Mr. K and what he'd do to fix the current Royals. Next we talked with a future Royals outfielder, David Lough of the Omaha Stormchasers about what it's like to have a Magic Number, what it's going to take to break into the Kansas City outfield and how lounging by the pool makes up a day off. Finally we talked to Lough's roommate, Stormchasers Second Baseman Johnny Giavotella who has also spent time in Kansas City this season. We talked about what he's working on, what he's attributing his offensive success to and what he's doing to get better defensively. There you go, the best of the past, the present and the future, every week on the Kansas City Baseball Vault. Join us each week on ESPN 1510 am, Thursday's at 6pm.
