कपीलदेवची ती १७५* ची खेळी 

१९८३ च्या विश्वचषक स्पर्धेत एका सामन्यात भारताचा कर्णधार कपिलदेव ह्याने नाबाद १७५ ची खेळी केली. झिम्बाब्वे विरुद्ध झालेला हा सामना एका अर्थाने ऐतिहासिक आणि भारतीय क्रिकेटला कलाटणी देणारा आहे. कपीलच्या त्या दिवसाची फलंदाजी भारतीय क्रिकेटमधील एक सर्वोत्कृष्ट खेळी समजली जाते. ही त्याचीच गोष्ट आहे. 

In a match at the 1983 World Cup, Indian captain Kapil Dev scored an unbeaten 175. The match against Zimbabwe is in a sense historic and a turning point in Indian cricket. Kapil's batting of that day is considered to be one of the best in Indian cricket.
