In this podcast Karen Walters, in conversation with Lisa Rickert,  recalls her introduction to Newman, where Reuben showed her around. She describes what her job entailed and some of the challenges she encountered. She also describes how her team had to clear  the air crash site which was overgrown and remove all the weeds and bring it to pristine condition. She remembers the fire that hit the shire offices, and how many of the maps and local knowledge was lost.
