A fun opinion piece on the proposed "centralized encampment" approach by the city of prince george. There's not only a lack of running water or electricity, but the city has actively delayed, prevented access to, and punished nearby businesses for trying to help those seeking shelter and water. There's 2 "porta potties" recently that are being paid for MOST GENEROUSLY by the Saik'uz First Nation, aka the "Stoney Creek" Indian Act/Band over 100 Kilometres away. Given the situation with KKKlanada, Reservations and water, some of us are hardly surprised.

This was the first bit of footage I ever captured with my new to me camera during this spring 2022. The last project I had worked on was in a/v school in 1995 on svhs machines and in a well funded school/studio. After 6-7 months learning davinci resolve, I re-cut/edited it to fit on a phone and tried to tidy it up and fix some of the mistakes I made in post. Still learning. more to come.

My partner was bragging about going to "Rock Island" state park of some sort while travelling the southern states. I told them that I was at "Rock Island" that day as well for work, and said I'd take them there sometime. This is the fruit of that trip... Please leave feedback! (good or bad)
