Story 1: A couple moves into a rental house and endures constant inspections and unreasonable demands from the landlord and agent. When they buy their own house, they strategically time the move-out to coincide with the end of the lease, leaving the landlord scrambling to find new tenants and missing out on rent payments.

Story 2: After being promoted and given more independence at work, the department faced a change in management. The new supervisor, who knew nothing about their job, implemented ineffective strategies and enforced strict break schedules. In response, the employees used their personal break time to carry out their regular break activities, resulting in the termination of the entire department due to low revenue.

Story 3: After a small, locally-owned supermarket chain was taken over by a national chain focused on image and bureaucracy, the emphasis shifted from customer satisfaction to cost-cutting. When the narrator tried to label and sell an excess of high-end meat without a price label, they were ordered to remove the product, resulting in its eventual disposal and a substantial financial loss. The narrator has encountered similar situations at other employers, where their efforts to sell products were discouraged due to the lack of incentives tied to their hourly wage.
