In this episode I talk to Raphael Kiesel about life after university. He himself did a PhD at RWTH, was a member of the Collège des Ingénieurs, then became a senior engineer and is now Senior Vice President of the ARRI Group. An exciting part of our conversation was about decisions - it's like hypotheses: You make an assumption, implement it and learn from the outcome. Decisions help us move forward.

Vipassana meditation originates from Buddhism and is an ancient technique that has stood the test of time. It offers us the opportunity to reprogramme our inner self by learning not to be overwhelmed by both positive and negative feelings.

On a trip to Singapore, I met Thien, whose stories about Vipassana meditation made a lasting impression on me.
