Dark mode is a great part of modern technology, not being blinded by the shining whites of wikipedia, google and other websites. This is why darkreader was invented. Anyway with that out of the way if you haven't checked out darkreader then I highly suggest you do. It's free and open-source software under the M.I.T. license. Anyway, enjoy the video

June 18, 2023 kdenlive appimage is not always the solution...
most people recommend the app image, and kdenlive shouldn't be a headache. but "troubleshooting" and trying out different versions of the program ended up fixing my issues.
