Sometimes you see them in front of you yet they are light years away. Then there are moments when you accept the fact that they are gone and this is the point when they are reborn within you.

Poverty in any form is a misery. Disasters be it man made or natural often take everything away from poor.

As one walks through the road of life , comes acquaintances in the form of realisations of what has been left behind and what was taken away.

Hathras, a town in western UP witnessed horrific incident in recent past. Many more such barbaric acts happen every day across villages - towns - cities - and all over. This poem is about the people who passively witness these and have got used to it. WE SHOULD NEVER EVER GET USED TO THE INJUSTICE ANYWHERE ON ANYONE.
