An aggrieved policeman, Sergeant Yahaya Osman, stationed at Asante Mampong has invoked curses on his commander, Superintendent Stephen Boadu. Two others, only identified as Asare and Atta Gadafi have also not been spared.

The chiefs and people of Gomoa Fetteh have made another history with their annual Ahobaakese festival which saw thousands from all walks of life in attendance. The festival has over the years had an impressive climax with its famous Atopa dance known in local parlance as Akosualontoba.

Roads and Highways Minister, Kwasi Amoako-Attah says the country’s precarious financial situation has affected some of his outfit’s infrastructure projects. A 45-year-old woman, Yaa Prah, who went missing for three days, has been found trapped inside a public toilet facility at Enyan Asempanyim in the Ajumako Enyan Esiem District of the Central Region. She was discovered lying inside one of the toilet bowls by a patron who was attending nature’s call at around 5:00am, Tuesday.

A speeding sprinter bus has crashed to death a father and his son on the Obuasi Dunkwa road in the Ashanti Region. The father has been identified as 45-year-old Kwame Gyasi and his four-year-old son Nurudeen who were on a motorbike.

A gynecologist at the St Francis Xavier Hospital in Assin Fosu in the Central Region, Dr Patrick Yamoah has died in an accident at Anwiaso in the Adansi Asokwa District of the Ashanti Region. The gynecologist was reported to have been travelling from Assin towards Kumasi on Wednesday, 24 August 2022, when the accident occurred.
