Today’s guest is Kat Reinhert aka my voice teacher from UM! Kat is an accomplished educator, author, vocalist, songwriter and artist. As a solo artist, Kat has released 5 independent albums and sung on multiple projects and has recorded for noted artists. She is the former Director of Contemporary Voice at The University of Miami, and is a sought-after clinician, speaker and researcher. She has authored several book chapters and journal articles on contemporary voice and songwriting and is the current president of the Association for Popular Music Education. Ms. Reinhert currently resides in NYC where she is working on several music educational, business, consulting and writing projects. 

She really is so much more than voice teacher, you’re going to hear in this episode how attentive she is to her craft, not only as an educator, but to pretty much everything she has set her mind to.
