Individualism is a social theory favoring freedom of action for individuals over collective or state control. As Chris stated in this episode we are entering the age of the collective which makes it more difficult for people to be who they are. As it becomes increasingly more difficult to build individuality and distinguish yourself from others, more emphasis needs to be placed on topics like this. Be Yourself! This is important in all aspects of life and especially in business. Just because you are a part of a specific demographic does not mean you have to act a certain way, talk a certain way, or even live up to certain ideas. It is ok to be unapologetically yourself regardless of the circumstance (granted you’re not harming anyone else in the process).
In this episode we also spoke about embracing the negatives in life. It is good to always have a positive outlook on life (it is actually recommended), but don't suppress the negative aspects.

Critical thinking is a skill that is often overlooked in society today. It is easy to come to the conclusion that you are well versed in a topic just because you have seen a series of videos on a social media platform about a specific topic. Everything is not always what it is seems. It is becoming increasingly more imperative, as fake news spreading like a wildfire , that people are doing their own due diligence.
We also live in a world right now where people get "canceled," for having a view that does not align with the majority. In some cases this is not always a bad thing because diversity of thought is very important and all opinions should be allowed to be expressed regardless of how wrong you think a person is. If you seek no opposition in life you are limiting your own growth because without resistance there is no way to get stronger.
In this Episode we also discussed the TikTok and Oracle deal. TikTok is quickly becoming the next big platform. Generating millions of users in such a small time frame. The app was under scrutiny from the president who had the proposed banning the app until TikTok was able to reach a deal with U.S. owned company. Oracle with the help of Walmart was able to arrange a deal that would help the app stay in the app, and ultimately avoid being banned.
