To talk about the 1989 movie Heathers, Kate is joined by a certified Heather – Heather Woodcock. Kate and Heather dig into social hierarchy in and out of school, teenage years, journaling, female friendships, Veronica the hero, what they didn’t like about the movie and film theories on what would happen after the credits roll.

Kate is joined by Josh Leach to talk about the seriously under-rated Josie and the Pussycats movie from 2001. They talk about the music, the in-jokes, lead singers taking over a band, product placement, subliminal advertising and the moral of the story.

Kate talks about one of her favorite movies, Casablanca. In this episode Kate covers the how this classic didn’t have the greatest of beginnings and wasn’t destined to be a classic but how it became one. Themes of love, betray, corruption, neutrality and cynicism on the backdrop of the World War II.
