Suffering produces perserverance and produces the character that He will use in your life for that purpose. He predestined you before the foundations of the earth. God never wastes your suffering. Set your hope on Him. Nothing will snatch you out of His hand.

Waiting strengthens your faith. Abraham waited past the point of possibility. How can you be strengthened in faith while you are waiting? It's not about denying the facts. Abraham faced the facts and trusted in God's promises despite them, and his faith was strengthened. Give glory to God during the wait. What His promises are to us beyond salvation. God's Word (the Truth) overrides fact.

He resists the proud, gives grace to the humble. Moses: most humble in all the land. Had to BE humbled in the desert, but then was used to free God's people from Egypt. Humble yourself in your desert and He will LIFT YOU UP to free His people here and now! How He literally sets Himself against the proud. Fear = where you are not trusting Him. Say to Him: I can't do this without you.

How to love, forgive and be free. You must receive His forgiveness and mercy. Praying for those who supposedly represent God who have wounded, betrayed you. Pray that they DON'T reap what they sow. There is such freedom in knowing He will restore what the locusts have eaten, when you obey Him and just forgive FROM THE HEART. How? Think of all He has forgiven you for and receive his mercy and give that away. Freedom! Grace=getting what you don't deserve, mercy=NOT getting what you do deserve. G.R.A.C.E.=God's riches at Christ's expense.

Do not be offended. Enemy's MO=misdirection and offenses. Offenses are offensive to God. Don't cause others to stumble in your freedom. We will offend and be offended because we're not perfect. What to do? Cover the offense. We are offended by friends, family, authority and God! Offenses=stumbling blocks.
