Kathryn Kuhlman continues teaching on the spiritual man and the carnal man from 1 Corinthians 3:1-7. Some of the other scriptures she cites are quoted below.
1 Corinthians 3:1-7: "And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men? For when one says, "I am of Paul," and another, "I am of Apollos," are you not carnal? Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase."
1 Thessalonians 5:23: "Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."
Romans 8:5: "For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit."
Kathryn Kuhlman discusses these same concepts in a little series called "Body, Soul and Spirit" you can find that here on You Tube https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLSMOPSA4R5IA5cat_12akuVg7GtqeUX2d&si=Go5dv26trBakEQwA

Kathryn Kuhlman talks about "death to self" for the Christian from 1 Samuel 2:6-7. In the big picture Kathryn is still teaching on 1 Corinthians chapter 2. This talk works well with the episode immediately before this one. Many of the scriptures that Kathryn uses are quoted below from the New King James Version:
1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Epesians 2:3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
Jeremiah 17:9 "The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
1 Samuel 2:6 "The LORD kills and makes alive; He brings down to the grave and brings up.
1 Samuel 2:7 The LORD makes poor and makes rich; He brings low and lifts up.
Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.
Romans 8:17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.
1 Corinthians 15:9 For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
1 Co 2:3 I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling.

Kathryn Kuhlman uses 1 Corinthians 2:6-14, to explain the concept of spiritually induced knowledge. Then she uses 1 Samuel 2:6-7 as an example of Spirit led understanding and interpretation. Along the way she cites 2 Corinthians 5:17. I have listed all the scriptures below:
1Co 2:6-14 "However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written: "EYE HAS NOT SEEN, NOR EAR HEARD, NOR HAVE ENTERED INTO THE HEART OF MAN THE THINGS WHICH GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM." But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."
2 Cor 5:17 says "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."
1 Samuel 2:6-7 says "The LORD kills and makes alive; He brings down to the grave and brings up. The LORD makes poor and makes rich; He brings low and lifts up."

Kathryn Kuhlman looks at 1 Corinthians chapter 2. She stresses Paul's humility, and his willingness to put aside his intellect in order to see God's power. She uses 1 Corinthians 2:1-4 which says:
1 Cor 2:1-4 And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,

Kathryn Kuhlman gives an overview of the book of 1 Corinthians. She highlights that we need to grow up spiritually and be united one with another in the church. Is it "righteous anger" or is "selfish anger'? Kathryn Kuhlman teaches on Anger out of Ephesians 4:26. Ephesians 4:26 reads, "Be Angry and do not sin": do not let the sun go down on your wrath,

Kathryn Kuhlman teaches about being conformed to Jesus' character. The main scripture she uses is 2 Corinthians 3:18. However she also uses Ephesians 4:13 so I want to add it into our series on Ephesians 4. Ephesians 4:13 and 2 Corinthians 3:18 read like this:
Ephesians 4:13 "till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;"
2 Corinthians 3:18 "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord."
This talk was posted last summer but it is so good that I want to post it again and also make it part of her "Mountain Top" talks best of series you can find the rest of that series on this You Tube playlist https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLSMOPSA4R5ICD-f6Xq6uAYtZoNUzZBU7j&si=w7zg0xMlfkOMdRxs
