On May 24th, the USX team summited Mt. Everest amidst 100mph winds and treacherous conditions. The team included the first active duty soldier and second combat wounded veteran to summit. I will be speaking with the USX team co-founder, Command Sergeant Major Todd Burnett, regarding the team's amazing climb and their efforts to raise awareness for mental health challenges that soldiers face.

Harrison and Alex Chen are brothers who played ping pong with each other growing up in Taiwan. They ultimately moved in separate directions and their solution to continue to play together was to build an app connected smart robot, they called "Trainerbot." Now they can play ping pong against each other anywhere and anytime via Trainerbot. The app, together with the robot, is now showcased and sold on Kickstarter. Nonprofit organization U.S. Expeditions and Explorations (USX), hopes to be the first to summit the first active duty male and female Army soldier, and first combat wounded military. The mission is to bring more attention to the jarring numbers of veterans and soldiers struggling with PTSD and suicide.
