"An accident, like most respectful demon summoning are supposed to happen.
The ancient book she discovered while rummaging in the attic did look dangerous, the thick, wrinkly to the touch dark cover a promise for trouble, yet she peeled off every yellowed page in fascination, the smell a mix of incense and summer dew.
It was addicting. Engrossed with it, she spent many late nights browsing through every section, of mythological creatures, magic spells, vengeful spirits and weapons, yet each time she found her way back to a peculiar white and red chapter; a page of swords, poison, claws and fangs, the menacing dog snarling at the reader the most captivating view she constantly stroked with her fingertips.
Three kanji composed the title, one she spoke, out loud like an idiot one too many times.
Sesshomaru.
She assumed it was the dog’s name, but the ethereal creature that one stormy night manifested outside her window wore a humanoid mask, a beautiful, eerie, beguiling camouflage that evoked only trouble and danger."
