Chapter 14 in the series. Paul is actually continuing the conversation he started back in chapter 11. In chapter 11 he started teaching them about how to pay attention to each other when they gather around the Lord's table.

In chapter 14 he is now inviting them (and us!) to consider what life around the table of Jesus looks like as it gets expressed in worship.

This week moves us into the heart of 1 Corinthians - chapters 11 through 15.

Our focus will be on chapter 11 and the two issues that existed in the Corinthian church. Those two issues were both related to worship and involved head coverings during prayer and teaching and the practice of sharing the Lord's Supper.

We continue our “Becoming Church” series with a look at THREE chapters in 1 Corinthians. 1 Corinthians 8, 9 & 10 represent one conversation that Paul is having with us and the church in Corinth.

We will explore these words and consider how they can help us think about our lives together as a church family.
