The finance committee in parliament has adopted finance minister Enoch Godongwana’s fiscal framework with the support of the ANC and DA.

SPAR reported that group revenue fell slightly to R66.1 billion compared to R66.2 billion reported last year, while its gross profit margin expanded to 10.7% from 10.6%, rising to 9.8% from 9.6% in southern Africa.

Operating profit before extraordinary items grew 1.6% to R1.46 billion, but the group reported a total loss of about R4 billion. Kaya FM
