This episode explores the nature of my social life throughout the peak months of my eating disorder. 

I discuss the negative implications of Covid-19, navigating this strange and unprecedented climate, whilst at the same time grappling with a life-threatening mental illness. I also discuss the favourable conditions it presented in the earlier stages of my illness, the ease with which I could conceal a tragic reality from my loved ones.

I went into my illness with more friends than I could count. I emerged with only a handful of quality friends. To these friends, you know who you are – I will be eternally grateful to you for standing by me, in spite of everything, in spite of my failures, of my inability to show up for you in the months I was but a shadow of my former self.
