Cllr WIll Patton has said that the Irish Post Office Network is the provider of essential government services, particularly for vulnerable individuals and families who may not have digital literacy or access to online platforms.

He has called for Carlow County Council to write to the Government to commit to investing €15 million annually in the Irish Post Office Network.
