At a special public meeting held at County Hall yesterday (19th February), Kilkenny County Council recommended refusal for the proposed development of 10 wind turbines at Ballyfasy near Mullinavat, citing insufficient information in the application submitted by Manogate Ltd.
The recommendations made in the Chief Executive's Report were welcomed by the elected members, with Cllr Tomas Breathnach proposing the report's adoption, which Cllr Pat Dunphy seconded. However, this is not the final word on the proposal as the final decision lies with An Comisiun Pleanala, whose verdict cannot be appealed.
