In observance of National Hispanic Heritage Month, KCSB-FM Presents Alas Para Volar, a limited series celebrating la Cultura through interviews with local musicians, artists, and activists here in Santa Barbara. This time around, we’re opening the door to discuss an upcoming coming-out celebration of 2SLGBTQIA+ here on the UCSB campus, speaking with Marco Muñoz, Program Coordinator at the Resource Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity, and Carlos Samaniego, founder and Director of Mariachi Arcoiris de Los Angeles, the world’s first LGBTQ+ mariachi group.
