Isla Vista Youth Projects aims to mitigate the effects of poverty, racism, and trauma by providing trauma-informed high quality childcare, comprehensive culturally sensitive family support, and visionary community leadership. While the organization shifted to remote work when COVID-19 struck, they have since reopened with limited capacity - but that hasn’t prevented them from providing valuable resources for the IV community.
