It’s a political satire about corruption in high places. The story centers on Ogeyi Odo, an honest young graduate who joins the Ministry of External Relations and refuses to join the corrupt schemes of her boss, Chief Haladu Ade-Amaka.
While Ogeyi stands her ground, her friend Aloho gives in to pressure, gets entangled in Chief Ade-Amaka’s drug and bribery ring, and dies after being arrested. With Ogeyi’s help, a police officer, ACP Yakubu, exposes and arrests the corrupt officials.
Corruption destroys lives and society, but integrity and justice can still win if people choose to do the right thing.
