Just a fun little project, this done using gimp to increase the red, and it is just 6 different images converted to c code, and displayed in order to give the appearance of breathing.
The sound was added, the project doesn't have any sound it's just a display.
If anyone is interested I'll share the code, but it is really just as simple as I said, converted images being displayed in order.

Originally two seperated videos demoing the TI-99/4A Speech Synthesizer. The first part is with the Extended Basic Cart, the second is with The Terminal Emulator II cart.
Part 1: Originally got 1,121 views and only 3 likes
While part 2 originally got 3,465 views and only 27 likes.
Sorry for the poor lighting, and bit of shaky cam - 2013 was a time of still learning.
Jan 2, 2023 I combined the two, cut out a small part of the 2nd part, and attempted to fix the audio (namely me being to loud.)

This is an emoShield I found on eBay years ago, it's a Arduino UNO shield - I made a small modification to an original Wemos D1 WiFi board, and now this shield works with it as well.
It sort of reminds me of Dr. Theopolis from Buck Rogers (sort of)

December 07, 2023 M5Stack Card Computer with LoRa E5 module Brief Demo
Using two Grove LoRa E5 modules and a couple of M5Stack Card Computers, I put together a mostly working demo for P2P interaction.
My sketch is based off part of the M5Stack Code for the card computer, and part of the example code found here
https://github.com/idreamsi/LoRaE5 which is a handy library for the device.
Seeed Studio also has a P2P demo https://wiki.seeedstudio.com/Grove_Wio_E5_P2P/ but I found it a little confusing as to what was going on.
One thing I do notice about these devices is, they seem to need to be reset quite often. I'm not sure why that is.
There is also a couple of improvements I'd like (maybe a ping-pong kind of thing, and a timer if a ping isn't received within a certain time, a reset is done(?)) - Also some way to tell what has been sent and what has been received (maybe different color text, or a hash mark or something)
