When Youtube star Keemstar recently got into a feud with fellow YouTube star Ethan Klein (h3h3Productions), the resulting fall-out had many smaller YouTuber's wondering what the platform would do in response.

Now, Youtube has acted to demonetize Keemstar's channel for a period of weeks, along with sending out similar statements to other YouTubers (such as Tipster) requiring them to reapply after stopping their "harassment" and cleaning up their act.

But while Keemstar thinks YouTube is using new rules to enact these changes, the truth is that we talked about the risk back when the rules were put in place last year.
