John Maynard was training for his first marathon when he was in a significant car crash that left him in a coma. He had to learn how to walk again. He couldn't sleep for over a year. He was supervised 24 hours a day. One year after his accident, he came back and finished his first marathon. John became hooked on running after that, and decided to get into ultras when marathons weren't "doing it" for him anymore. Listen to John's story now to get all the details of his accident, recovery, and his first 100mile race!
