A woman has been charged after trying to burn down #MartinLutherKingJr birth home in #Atlanta 26-year-old #LaneishaShantriceHenderson was arrested and charged. Thankfully, two tourists from #Utah noticed Henderson trying to burn down the home and jumped into action to stop her. "Tonight, an unfortunate incident occurred at the birth home of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as an individual attempted to set fire to this historic property," the King center said. "Fortunately, the attempt was unsuccessful, thanks to the brave intervention of good Samaritans and the quick response of law enforcement. We thank the Atlanta Police Department, Atlanta Fire Department, the National Parks Service, and Mayor Andre Dickens for leading the efforts to ensure the safety of our cherished national landmark and its adjacent neighbors. Our prayers are with the individual who allegedly committed this criminal act."

#JohnSnyder and #KatherineSnyder were ordered to serve sentences of 29 years to life and 31 years to life in a state correctional facility for the horrific slaying of young #AdamSnyder authorities announced.
A jury in #HamiltonCounty earlier this month convicted the couple on #felony charges in the little boy’s tragic Oct. 5, 2016 death and abusing several of their other children.

December 11, 2023 Charleston White Gets Jumped At Texas Comedy Show
On Saturday (December 9), Charleston White was in Crockett, Texas, where he was scheduled to perform as headliner of a comedy show and Christmas party event at the Crockett Civic Center on Edmiston Dr. While performing stand-up at the show, a viral video shows White being heckled by a couple of male audience members wearing Los Angeles Lakers jerseys and after throwing verbal shots at them things quickly escalated.

December 11, 2023 Rocket launcher surrendered at gun buyback event
A gun buyback event in San Jose collected 408 firearms, including a rocket launcher, California officials reported. An Uzi submachine gun, a sawed-off shotgun and 20 “ghost guns” also were turned over at the Dec. 2 event at the San Jose airport, a Santa Clara County news release said. Authorities collected 70 replica, airsoft or BB guns, according to the county. Residents turned in 133 handguns and 275 rifles.

total of 19 people have been arrested on various charges related to human trafficking and child exploitation after multiple agencies took part in #OperationWhiteElephant at the end of November, according to the #KingsCounty Sheriff’s Office. Deputies add that two females were also rescued from human trafficking.
