  • Who Is Your "Go To" Person?

    Psalm 34:4,6 NASBS

I sought the LORD, and He answered me, And delivered me from all my fears. [6] This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him And saved him out of all his troubles.

Psalm 34:8-10 NASBS "O taste and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! [9] O fear the LORD, you His saints; For to those who fear Him there is no want. [10] The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; But they who seek the LORD shall not be in want of any good thing."

Matthew 6:31-34 NASBS "Do not worry then, saying, 'What will we eat?' or 'What will we drink?' or 'What will we wear for clothing?' [32] For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. [33] But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. [34] "So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

    • When faced with overwhelming discouragement, David encouraged himself in the Lord.

    • While Stephen was being stoned, he looked up and gained strength from a heavenly vision of the Lord.

    • Paul and Silas were beaten, thrown in prison and shacked, but prayed and sang hymns to the Lord.

    • In times of doubt, discouragement and anxiety, pursue the Lord Jesus Christ.

    • In those moments of fear, where doubt seeks to cripple your faith and drag you down, seek the Lord Jesus.

    •  In times of desperation and hopelessness, look up, cry out to God, walk in then power of the Blood Covenant.

Where do you go, to whom do you look for comfort. Who is your “go to” person?

  • Reading and Praying Psalm 31
    Psalm 31:1,14-15 NASBS
[1] In You, O LORD, I have taken refuge; Let me never be ashamed; In Your righteousness deliver me. [14] But as for me, I trust in You, O LORD, I say, "You are my God." [15] My times are in Your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me.

  • Ambassador for Christ

2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

  • Brand New

2 Corinthians 5:17-18 (TPT) “Now, if anyone is enfolded into Christ, he has become an entirely new creation. All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold, everything is fresh and new. 18 And God has made all things new, and reconciled us to himself, and given us the ministry of reconciling others to God.”

I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. I am no longer my own. This vessel is set aside for God’s kingdom business. Jesus must become greater, I must become less.

  • Reading and Praying Psalm 30

Psalm 30:1-5 NLT "I will exalt you, LORD, for you rescued me. You refused to let my enemies triumph over me. [2] O LORD my God, I cried to you for help, and you restored my health. [3] You brought me up from the grave, O LORD. You kept me from falling into the pit of death. [4] Sing to the LORD, all you godly ones! Praise his holy name. [5] For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning."
