I spent the last week in California which was awesome. We got to see a lot of the state and meet some truly remarkable people. One thing that keeps getting to me is the fact that there are so many people living with such immense passion and I am kind of drifting around and uncertain as to what it is that I want to do or how I will go about doing it. Met Bradley Martyn the YouTube sensation from Zoo Culture and you could just tell he lives for what it is that he does and he absolutely loves it. Although it was an awesome day, it left me feeling even more broken because I still haven't found what it is that I am truly passionate about. It wasn't till we had dinner with a woman who is very influential in the tech space and she started talking about her lack of passion, that I realised, perhaps it is okay to be uncertain as to what your passions are. If she can have a life that most would only dream of achieving without passion, maybe, just maybe there was hope for me yet. I then started to shift the "maybe" too a certainly and I shifted my mindset to that of, "well this is a good thing, if I did know what my passion was, I'd have to follow it, whereas, right now I am still figuring it out which gives me a unique perspective and I can dabble in and out of things until such time as I feel like I know what my passion is and what I truly want to do".
