Pastor Ed Taylor is in the middle of a series of studies in First Kings, and we’re spending a little extra time looking at Elijah’s life and ministry for good reason. There’s a lot here to take in and apply. When tragedy strikes, like the loss of a loved one, questions tend to surface like Why! And we find that very question here in the story before us. A widow’s son has become sick and dies. And Elijah takes this time to cry out to God in prayer. Let’s be encouraged to keep praying no matter what.
